Woodrow Hamilton / Giants sign DL Woodrow Hamilton to practice squad, release P Brock Miller

The New York Giants continued their recent weekly tradition by making a few minor adjustments to their practice squad, announcing on Wednesday that punter Brock Miller had been released and defensive lineman Woodrow Hamilton signed.

Miller had been signed ahead of a Week 14 game against the Washington Redskins in order to help prepare the Giants for a left-footed punter. It’s unlikely he’ll make a return to the team this season.

Hamilton, meanwhile, who sports a name the Founding Fathers would be proud of, was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Mississippi in 2016
