Let me get this out of the way right now – I HATE college football already this year! My Arizona Wildcats, the team I predicted would go 9-3 and win the Pac-12 South, are a BAD 0-2 with little hope in sight. Khalil Tate, the supposed Heisman hopeful, looks no better than a benchwarmer at this point. Whether it’s a combination of horrendous play calling, bad personnel, and injuries…that doesn’t matter. To say this season thus far has been a MAJOR disappointment is understating things! And on top of that, the team I dislike the most, ASU, is 2-0 and now ranked inside the top-25. As much as I love this sport, my passion will definitely fade in 2018 if these trends keep up.
On to the picks where last week’s Fanatic guest picker, Wesley Franco had an impressive 7-3 SU, 6-4 ATS week to keep the guest pickers right there with ‘Bear Down Steve’ (Malina) at the top of both leaderboards. This week’s guest picker, Morning Fanatics host Shawn Crespin will try to keep the station pickers’ lead against the spread.
Fanatic Guest Picker Standings:
Week 1 – Chris Schubert: 8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS
Week 2 – Wesley Franco: 7-3 SU, 6-4 ATS
||(Fanatic Staff Guest Picker) Shawn Crespin

This Week’s Bold Prediction:
EC: Last week Clemson got a serious scare by Texas A&M…well this week Alabama gets a close game from Ole Miss in Oxford. The Rebels are as potent on offense as any team I’ve seen this season and I fully expect them to keep Nick Saban’s team within striking distance throughout.
JB: USC-Texas has the makings of a who’s who race towards the most disappointing team in 2018. I picked USC for that distinction in this blog. Texas? I have them in the title game. Big Game Tom (Herman) gets revenge here after last year’s thriller in Los Angeles.
SD: N’Keal Harry will begin to enter the national Heisman discussion after catching three touchdowns vs. SDSU.
SM: Ohio State dominates. The Buckeyes show that for the players on the field, the adversity brought them closer together and more focused. Haskins puts up 300 yards and 4 TDs in the air. J.K. Dobbins also rushes for 150 and a score. BONUS: Khalil Tate struggles again even though Arizona dominates Southern Utah…leading some of Wildcat Nation to wonder if Tate should be benched.
SC: Khalil Tate gets pulled after another poor 1st half against Southern Utah.
