Ball So Hard Sports with Armon Williams and Marlon Jones
Ball So Hard Sports, hosted by Armon and Marlon is a fast paced entertainment show with lots of opinions and guests.
Armon Williams is the host of the show. Armon played college football at the University of Arizona where he earned 1st Team All-Pac 10 honors in 1995 & 1996. He would go on to be drafted in the 7th Round of the 1997 NFL Draft and played in the NFL from 1997-1999. After football, he became a professional standup comedian. His career took off after getting discovered by a talent scout out of LA who invited him to take part in a nationally syndicated XM Satellite radio show and later to perform at the world-famous Hollywood Improv. He’s a national touring comedian who’s worked with such comedy A-Listers as: Patrice O’Neal, David Allen Grier, Mark Curry, Tony Roberts, Deon Cole, etc. Armon also doubles as an actor, model, and television sports analyst.
Marlon Jones is the co-host of the show. Marlon is a native of Mesa, Arizona, and a Dobson High School graduate. At Dobson, he earned 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Arizona, and All American honors in basketball. He would go on to Arizona State University on a basketball scholarship for two seasons before transferring to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He finished his college career as one of the all-time leaders in field goal % at Westmont College. After college, he and his family launched Desert Ice Enterprises, landing a contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks which lasted over 10 years at Chase Field, up until they sold the business. Marlon has also spent time as a cofounder and cohost for the sports podcast, Cheap Shot sports, and was an avid sports blogger for Off the Record sports, and he was recently inducted, as part of the 2016 class, into the City of Mesa, Sports Hall of Fame.
